The Victorian state government has announced that from 1st July 2017 that they will abolish stamp duty for first home owners and in regional areas they will be giving a $20,000 incentive.
Obviously this will have a huge impact in many different ways, As of the 1st of July 2017 first home buyers will be in a very hard market, there will be a lot of first home buyers who now can afford to enter the market so competition for housing for first home buyers will be very stiff.
